ClearConnex is proud to launch its first standalone product, ClearUSB, a portable, robust USB Host and Device stack specifically designed for embedded systems. The technology behind ClearUSB has a proven track record of performance over the last decade. ClearUSB currently supports more than a dozen embedded operating systems, many types of devices and will run on all major processors. With the stack's modular architecture, the current functionality can easily be expanded.

ClearConnex is also pleased to announce the porting of ClearUSB to a new operating system and hardware platform - the Sierra Wireless OpenAT OS running on its Wireless Microprocessor (such as the WMP100) and Quick Wireless modem product lines. ClearUSB Host for OpenAT is the only OpenAT plug-in that allows a Sierra Wireless cellular modules to add USB Host functionality. This solution allows users to continue to build devices where the entire application runs on the OpenAT based modem, no external processor is required.
